One Girl is a grassroots not-for-profit organisation on a mission to help break down the financial, cultural & social barriers girls and young women face in accessing their right to education.

Our locally led programs team is based in Sierra Leone, with fundraising and operations based in Melbourne, Australia.

We are fully funded by everyday people (but we like to think of them as extraordinary individuals) - One Girl supporters who are changing the world with us, one girl at a time.

Meet the One Girl team

Dr. Chrisanta Muli

CEO

Chrisanta is our CEO. She is an impact-driven gender equality specialist with over 12 years’ experience leading complex participatory action research and evaluations across diverse global cultural contexts in Australia, Asia, Africa, the UK and the Pacific. Chrisanta brings her leadership experience and passion for Gender Justice and Women’s Rights to One Girl. When she is not at One Girl, Chrisanta is pottering in her garden!
